This study profiles NSUN2-bound RNAs in human pancreatic cancer PANC-1 cells using RIP-seq. Cells were treated with either ddH2O (control) or 30 mM sodium lactate (treatment) for 24 hours. RNA immunoprecipitation was performed using an anti-NSUN2 antibody, followed by library preparation and high-throughput sequencing. The goal of this study is to identify lactate-regulated NSUN2 targets and investigate the role of m5C RNA modifications in pancreatic cancer cell response to metabolic stress.
