This project characterizes viral sequences associated with flat mites collected in Hawaii using high-throughput sequencing. Mite pools were processed for total nucleic acid extraction and sequenced to generate datasets. Reads were quality filtered and analyzed with computational workflows to detect, assemble, and taxonomically annotate viral sequences.
