Pacific SEAMAP 1961-70 data for area 15530-10, longitude 155 ̊W to 165 ̊W, latitude 30 ̊N to 36 ̊N: bathymetry, magnetics, and gravity

Processed bathymetry, magnetic, and gravity data, collected between 1961 and 1970 in the North Pacific area bounded by longitudes 155°W and 165°W and latitudes 30°N and 36°N are listed in computer printout format. More than 30,000 evaluated data points from Project Pacific SEAMAP surveys are included. These surveys were initiated in 1961 by the Coast and Geodetic Survey and continued after July 1965 by the C&GS under the Environmental Science Services Administration and after October 1970 by the National Ocean Survey of the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. The listing identifies the vessel, cruise, position and time of each bathymetric measurement, corrected depth, correction applied for sound velocity variation, total magnetic field intensity, magnetic anomaly, observed gravity, free-air gravity anomaly, and gravity meter used. 1972 NOS (National Ocean Service) Library Public domain 1936
