Karst geology
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains three separate pieces of data: Karst Points, Karst Geology, and Karst Depressions. Karst Points contains all locations for known or suspected karst features in Ohio. This dataset is a result of detailed karst mapping from 2010 to present by Douglas Aden with the addition of Brittany Parrick after 2015. Karst Geology contains two geologic lithology types and two category classes of depth to bedrock. These geologic lithologies are known to contain karst features due to their makeup. The addition of classifying the drift thickness is used to show how the shallower depth of drift usually is more likely to have karst features than the thicker drift areas. Finally, Karst Depressions represent the size of known and probable sinkholes in the state of Ohio where detailed mapping is complete. These depressions were recreated in 2017 by Douglas Aden to include shallower features and are added to each year with the help of Brittany Parrick. Data Update Frequency: Every Saturday. Data Update Frequency: As Needed.
