Raw data for the mitochondrial genome of the yellow-vented flowerpecker, Dicaeum chrysorrheum (Dicaeidae)

To facilitate the phylogenetic researches of Dicaeum genus, the mitochondrial genome of D. chrysorrheum was sequenced using the next generation sequencing platform. For the sequencing library preparation, genomic DNA was used as the input material and the sequencing library was generated using the VAHTS Universal DNA Library Prep Kit (Vazyme, Nanjing, China). The Library quantification and size selection were conducted using Qubit 3.0 fluorometer (Life Technologies, Carlsbad, CA, USA) and Bioanalyzer 2100 (Agilent Technologies, CA, USA). Subsequently, DNA sequencing was performed on a MGI-SEQ 2000 platform.
