1/5 Scale Reinforced Concrete Infill Frame with Deficient Seismic Detailing, Frame 3

Third frame was constructed with partition walls and code defiant reinforcement detailing. Reinforcement details are controlled by inappropriate longitudinal/transverse reinforcement detailing and also by insufficient splice length for longitudinal column reinforcement. During the pseudo-static tests first story inter-story drift ratios were chosen to be in incremental fashion as previous frames. These were 0.1%, 0.3%, 0.7%, 1%, 1.4%, 1.8% for the third frame. Vibration excitation by the impact hammer is provided in a similar fashion to bare frames.
