Greenhouse gas emissions volume in Russia in 2017, by type

In 2017, the volume of carbon dioxide emissions in Russia, excluding the absorption from the atmosphere caused by land use, reached over 1.6 billion tons of CO2 equivalent. Considering the land sector, approximately 406 million tons of CO2 equivalent of methane emissions were recorded.
