Students’ Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices Regarding Climate Change and Biodiversity in the Democratic Republic of Congo

This dataset, compiled by Salifu et al. (2025), contains responses from 607 students on their knowledge, attitudes, and practices regarding the impact of climate change on biodiversity. The students were interviewed at the University of Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics and multivariate logistic regression. The results are presented in a submitted manuscript for publication, “Climate Change Awareness and Its Impacts on Biodiversity: Insights from Students at the University of Lubumbashi, Democratic Republic of Congo.” Overall, findings indicate that although awareness among students is increasing, it does not consistently translate into meaningful pro-environmental action. We also attach the questionnaire used to collect the survey data.
