Number of coronavirus tests in Iceland 2020

On November 24, 2020, 904 people were tested for the coronavirus in Iceland. The number of people tested for the coronavirus (COVID-19) in Iceland increased significantly by mid-March. The number of tested people started to decline after a peak in April. However, they increased steadily again by mid-June when they introduced border screening. The highest number of tests in a single day was recorded on September 22, with around 5.2 thousand performed tests. In November, Iceland had a test rate of around 606 tests per thousand people.
