Gut microbiota in a rat model of atrial fibrillation with probiotic intervention

This metagenomic study investigates the impact of probiotics on the gut microbial community structure in a Sprague-Dawley rat model of atrial fibrillation (AF). The project involves 16S rRNA gene sequencing of fecal samples from rats across different experimental groups, including Sham, AF, AF with probiotic supplementation, and AF with NLRP3 inhibitor treatment. The goal is to understand the role of gut microbiota in AF pathogenesis and its modulation by probiotics.
