Transcriptome data for GC cell line with different metastasis ability. Homo sapiens
收藏资源简介:
We implanted the subcutaneous tumor piece of BGC-823 on the wall of SCID mouse stomach to create the orthotopic xenograft model. After 4-5 weeks, liver metastatic cells were isolated and expanded in culture, and then were reinoculated into mice for a second round of in vivo selection. A highly metastatic variant was obtained after three rounds of in vivo selection, named BGC-LM. The results showed that fifty percentage of mice bearing BGC-LM tumors had developed macrometastasis when all of the mice bearing BGC-823 tumors remained metastasis-invisible to the naked eye, indicating that BGC-LM cells exhibited higher metastatic capacity than the parental BGC-823 cells. To screen out the genes that involved in the liver metastasis of GC, we compared transcriptome differences between the BGC-823 cells and the BGC-LM cells by RNA sequencing.
