These are copies of letters sent and received by the Surveyor General consisting of lists of persons whose land was to be surveyed, sent by the Secretary to the Governor, correspondence concerning quit rents and the availability of land settlement. There are copies of reports by Oxley on journeys of exploration and survey into the Illawarra, Moreton Bay and Port Macquarie districts. There are also copies of instructions sent to surveyors and reports from surveyors on surveys carried out.(9/2642; microfilm copy SR Reel 2667). 1 vol.
