Buildings and storefronts line both sides of the street, while utility poles line the right side. A sign at left is visible reading, "Dry goods, dress patterns, clothing, and shoes. Factory prices" while signs at right are visible reading, "T. Shubert Groceries, Hay, and Grain" and "M. Sobel Household Furnisher". A ladder and buckets are visible against the building on the far right. Five horse-and-buggy combinations are visible in the street, including an eight-horse hitch.
