Using ARUs and Point Counts to Monitor Northern Bobwhite in South Carolina

This study provides an analysis of survey results from Autonomous recording units (ARUs) and traditional in-person point count surveys as used to monitor Northern Bobwhite populations in South Carolina. We aim to compare and contrast the two survey methods and suggest ways in which they could be used together as part of an effective adaptive management program.
