PFISR Observations and Derived Ionospheric Conductivity During Sustained Pulsating Aurora on 5 March 2022
收藏资源简介:
This dataset supports the manuscript “Lower-Ionospheric Conductivity and Passive Energy Deposition During Sustained Pulsating Aurora” by Coleman et al. The dataset contains processed observations from the Poker Flat Incoherent Scatter Radar (PFISR) obtained on 5 March 2022 during the Loss through Auroral Microburst Pulsations (LAMP) sounding rocket campaign. Data products include altitude-resolved electron densities, ionospheric electric fields, calculated Pedersen, Hall, and Cowling conductivities, height-integrated conductances, and passive electromagnetic energy-deposition estimates. The dataset also contains derived quantities used to characterize four intervals of sustained pulsating aurora. These products support the analysis of electron-neutral collision contributions to lower-ionospheric conductivity and passive energy deposition during energetic auroral precipitation.
