Gulls and pathogens: Toxoplasma gondii immunological data and stable isotope data (Mediterranean Sea, 2009-2016)

Immunological data obtained from egg yolk samples and stable isotope
data obtained from albumen of yellow-legged gulls collected around the Mediterranean coasts from 2009 to
2016.
gulls_toxo_elisa_sia.csv: immunological data obtained by screening for anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies
with the IDvet kit ID Screen(r) Avian Toxoplasmosis Indirect and stable isotope data; id_nest: unique nest
identifier; id_sample: unique sample identifier; comment; site: sampling site identifier; campaign: sampling
year; OD_cor: optical density read at 450nm corrected for interplate variations (positively correlated to
antibody levels); latitude: latitude of the nest; longitude: longitude of the nest; length: length of the
egg in mm; width: width of the egg in mm; d13C: carbon isotopic ratio; d15N: nitrogen isotopic ratio; d34S:
sulphur isotopic ratio.
gulls_toxo_mat.csv: immunological data obtained by screening for anti-Toxoplasma gondii antibodies by
modified agglutination test: id_sample: unique sample identifier; mat_pure_titer: last positive titer of
pure samples; mat_third_titer: last positive titer of samples diluted at 1/3; titer_status: immunological
status of the sample according to the modified agglutination test.
gulls_sites.csv: information regarding the sampling sites; area: geographical area; code: unique site
identifier; site: complete name of the colony; latitude; longitude.
immuno_functions.r: homemade functions for basic epidemiological data exploration (del_dup(), get_prev(),
get_stat()).
