Recovery behavior of denitrification by bio-promotors in a Cr(VI) inhibited biofilm reactor

In this study, a lab-scale spiral fiber based biofilm reactor was continuously operated to remove nitrate in wastewater containing 100 mg/L of hexavalent chromium (Cr (VI)). Four biological promotors (bio-promotors) were developed to improve the efficiency of the denitrification system inhibited by high-strength Cr (VI).
