资源简介:
Advances in computational biology have allowed us to design new proteins with custom shapes and functions. Protein design has many applications, such as the design of new medicines or biomaterials. However, a major obstacle to achieving these goals is that many designs still fail to take on the desired shape or perform the desired function when experimentally tested in the lab. In this project, we developed a new design protocol. We then showed that this protocol improves our ability to computationally design mini-proteins that actually fold into stable structures when tested in the lab. The uploaded sequencing data relates to the experiment that we used to show this.
