Benchmark dataset of water levels and waves in the St. Lawrence Estuary and Saguenay Fjord, Quebec, Canada

This dataset provides quality-controlled in situ water level and wave observations collected since March 2023 in the St. Lawrence Estuary and Saguenay Fjord (Quebec, Canada) in support of the Surface Water and Ocean Topography (SWOT) satellite mission. Water levels from pressure transducers and GNSS-IR sensors are referenced to a common vertical datum (CGVD28). Bulk wave parameters and directional spectra from wave buoys are also provided. The dataset will be periodically updated and supports SWOT validation and estuarine process studies.
