Genomics and susceptibility profiles of extensively drug-resistant (XDR) Pseudomonas aeruginosa from Spain

Nosocomial infections by extensively drug resistant (XDR) P. aeruginosa are a growing threat in hospitals world-wide. The objective of this work was to determine the molecular epidemiology, resistance mechanisms and susceptibility profiles of recent XDR P. aeruginosa clinical isolates from Spain.
