Whole blood transcriptomic profiles from older patients
收藏资源简介:
The primary objective of this study was to investigate whole blood transcriptomic signatures in older populations and to assess their relationship with peripheral lymphocyte populations. Whole blood gene expression profiles were evaluated in a cohort of aged individuals undergoing open heart surgery. Transcriptomic signatures were assessed between clinical groupings and proportions of lymphocyte populations from flow cytometry analysis. Pre-operative whole blood samples were acquired from patients undergoing open heart surgery. Blood samples were collected into PAXgene blood RNA tubes and total RNA extracted according to the manufacturer’s instructions. RNA samples were then hybridized and analyzed using the Clariom S HT microarray. Gene expression data from human whole blood
