NPU-FER: A web image dataset for facial expression recognition

This dataset for natural facial expression recognition was constructed by leveraging the web images. An amount of labeled web images were obtained from the image search engines by using specific keywords. The algorithms of junk image cleansing were then utilized to remove the mislabeled images and further cleaned by the manual labeling. At last , totally 1648 images for six categories of facial expressions were collected, which have unbalanced number and different resolution images for each category.
