DEVELOPMENT OF STUDENTS' INDEPENDENT ACTIVITY IN PAINTING BASED ON CREATIVE TASKS

Abstract: This article investigates the problems of developing the independent creative and artistic-search activities of higher education students majoring in art pedagogy during painting classes. The pedagogical potential of creative tasks in overcoming stereotypes in traditional painting education, as well as in shaping the coloristic thinking, compositional imagination, and individual style of future fine arts teachers, is scientifically substantiated. The article analyzes the mechanisms of modeling students' independent activities, the integration of academism and modernism, and the criteria for creating problem-based creative situations.
