A study on skin microbiota diversity of healthy individuals from Indian origin.

Skin serves as a host for many microbial communities. The distribution and abundance of these microbes is dependent on the skin microenvironment (physiology, anatomy, pH). It is also known that the bacterial community composition is influenced by multiple parameters such as, lifestyle, gender, environment, age, geography etc. Present study aims to investigate the skin microbiota diversity and its accosting factors of healthy genetically unrelated individuals from Indian origin.
