Representation and assessment of individual semantic knowledge Repräsentation und Erhebung individuellen semantischen Wissens

The paper provides an introduction into a set-theoretic framework for representing individual semantic knowledge, and presents a therein developed experimental procedure for its assessment. The approach is closely related to knowledge space theory, and to formal concept analysis. It differs from the standard methods of psycholinguistic research in various respects: It is designed to assess individual semantic structures, it is not based on similarity data, and it is formulated according to the principles of measurement theory.
