RNA-seq of ENO1-knockout in pancreatic cells

ENO1 is a key glycolytic enzyme that catalyzes the dehydratation of 2-phosphoglycerate to phosphoenolpyruvate. ENO1 plays a vital role in the abnormal glucose metabolism in PC, which can be exploited as a target to control carcinogenesis by reducing aerobic glycolysis. To test this possibility,we performed RNA-seq assays expressing NTC or ENO1 sgRNA, respectively. Altogether, our results indicated that ENO1-knockout inhibited tumorigenesis by reducing cell glycolysis and activating other metabolic pathways by altering the expression of G6PD, ALDOC, UAP1, as well as other related metabolic genes.
