A. Protein lysates were harvested from fibroblasts infected with TB40/E wild type (WT), UL88-deficient, or UL88Rev HCMV at MOI of 3 at 96hpi. Blots were probed for viral proteins UL88, pp28, and tubulin as a loading control. Protein lysates from fibroblasts, either mock-infected or infected with wild type (WT) or UL88-STOP TB40/E strain of HCMV at a MOI of 0.05, were harvested at (B) 15 dpi or (C) 12dpi. The lysates were analysed by western blot (WB) and probed for MyD88, JAK1, NF-kB, IRF3, IRF1, p-STAT1, STAT1, EAA1, pp28, and tubulin. B-C. Protein lysates were harvested from fibroblasts infected with either UL88Revertant or UL88GalK virus at a low MOI of 0.05 and harvested at 12 dpi.
