We used the Illumina HiSeqTM 2500 sequencing technique to construct a library for all small RNAs from yak and cow milk exosomes. We detected a total of 10,556,766 clean reads for cow-milk exosomes and 11,456,034 clean reads for yak-milk exosomes, respectively . All RNAs sequenced were in the length of 16-30 nt. Subsequently, those small RNAs were classified into different categories, according to their biogenesis and annotations.
