资源简介:
These datasets provide all simulated results of the manuscript "Evaluation of parameterization schemes of frozen soil matric potential in land surface models: A modeling perspective". In this study, four modified SHAW models which incorporate different soil matric potential (SMP) schemes and driven with the same forcing data at a typical permafrost observation site, the Tanggula site at Qinghai-Tibet plateau of China, for the purpose of comparing and evaluating the performance of the SMP schemes in simulating the heat and water transport processes in permafrost regions. The four SMP scenarios include: (1) Baseline: the SHAW model with the original Campbell SMP scheme without considering the effects of soil ice; (2) P: a modified SHAW model that considers the soil ice effect of effective porosity on the SMP; (3) ICE: a modified SHAW model that considers the effect of cryosuction on the SMP; (4) P+ICE: a modified SHAW model that combines both the effects of effective porosity and cryosuction in the SMP equation. The parameter uncertainties during performance assessment were also considered by basing this work on 1000 random parameter sets for the SMP-related parameters generated by the Latin hypercube sampling method. Through comparing the simulations of the four scenarios, the performance of each SMP scheme can be evaluated.
