Data underlying the manuscript: Clinical characteristics of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients in Kuwait

This dataset consists of a single Excel .xlsx spreadsheet with 6 tabs. The spreadsheet is named ‘COVID19 Kuwait.xlsx’. The data underlie the study described in the related manuscript: "Clinical characteristics of Coronavirus Disease 2019 (COVID-19) patients in Kuwait".
The data were gathered as part of a retrospective single-center study of 417 consecutive patients
with coronavirus
disease 2019
(COVID-19) admitted to Jaber Al-Ahmad Hospital in Kuwait between February 24, 2020 and May 24, 2020.
The cohort can be classified into 4 groups: 1. Symptomatic, 2. Asymptomatic, 3. ICU Survivor, 4. ICU Death.
The study was reviewed and approved by the standing committee for coordination of health and medical research at the Ministry of Health in Kuwait (IRB 2020/1404). The requirement of written informed consent was waived by the standing committee for coordination of health and medical research at the Ministry of Health in Kuwait due to the urgency of data collection and nature of disease being studied.
