NWS Smoke Forecast app

Wildfire smoke models predict the location, movement, and intensity of smoke in the atmosphere. Air quality forecast models predict future simulated air quality conditions. The National Weather Service (NWS) Smoke Forecast map displays projected visible surface smoke across the CONUS for the next 48 hours, in 1 hour increments. It is updated every 24 hours by the National Weather Service. Hourly concentrations of PM2.5 are reported in micrograms per cubic meter. Use the search tool to zoom to your area of interest. Data are from the National Digital Guidance Database (NDGD).
