Rhizosphere microbiome of arecanut in Yellow Leaf Disease (YLD) endemic region

Arecanut is an important plantation crop cultivated predominantly in the Indian states of Karnataka, Kerala, Assam, and Maharastra. Arecanut production has recently been hampered by environmental and disease pressures especially the increasing incidence of Yellow Leaf Disease YLD. A comprehensive study of the arecanut rhizosphere microbiome's structural composition, as well as harnessing arecanut microbiome interactions to resolve biotic and abiotic stresses.
