This collection comprises images from an assessment of Second World War defence structures located within the SANGS area of development at the Queen Elizabeth Barracks, Church Crookham, Hampshire, England. The works, as part of the Defence of Britain Project and Defence Areas Project, were carried out by Oxford Archaeology in June and July 2013. This assessment identified 18 structures, within this nationally significant defence area above Ewshot, including Type-24 pillboxes and four Vickers gun emplacements situated around two hilltop positions.
