Multi-Fidelity Approach to Modeling Urban Microclimate

For effective urban planning, we need to know how hot our cities will get. This research demonstrates that our current prediction tools are not reliable enough. By identifying exactly how these models fail to account for complex heat movement around buildings and trees, this work provides the foundation for developing next generation climate models. These improved tools are essential for designing healthier and more resilient urban environments.
