We have developed a linear Boltzmann transport model to simulate the interaction between high-energy parton showers and the thermal partons in the hot and dense quark-gluon plasma in heavy-ion collisions. The model places emphasis on jet transport and jet-induced medium response which could form a Mach-cone-like structure with wavefront and diffusion wake.
