Variables the affect the housing market in differents regions of Catalonia

This project presents a comprehensive longitudinal dataset integrating socioeconomic and real estate indicators for the 43 administrative regions (comarcas) of Catalonia from 2005 to 2023. The study consolidates diverse variables, including demographic density, population dynamics, and surface area, alongside detailed migration data such as emigration, immigration, and net migration flows. To provide a holistic view of regional welfare and market trends, the dataset incorporates economic metrics including unemployment rates and family income levels, juxtaposed with housing market dynamics (rental and purchase prices). The primary objective is to create a standardized repository supported by a codebook. This framework enables the exploration of regional disparities, the impact of economic cycles on housing affordability, and the correlation between demographic shifts and urban development within the Catalan territory over nearly two decades. In the files, it can be found the CODE Y META.pdf that is a table for the codebook and extra metadata, then DASHBOARD.xlsx is the dashboard based on the DATOS.csv to demonstrate the information collected and think about conclusions.
