Welcome to the collection of sequencing reads from the attached communities of carbonate aquifers in Hainich National Park, Thuringia, Germany. The metagenome reads were sequenced from 20 colonized samples exposed to oxic and anoxic groundwater from the Hainich groundwater wells H41 and H52: 10 samples colonized on passive sampler material in situ and 10 samples colonized on rock chips in a bioreactor.
