VPRS 10076 Index To Correspondence

With the exception of VPRS 10297 which largely consists of correspondence relating to the Electrification Committee, the inward correspondence of the Way and Works Branch has not been transferred to the PRO. As at September 1992, its location is unknown.Note that in the P0 consignment, units 9 and 70 do not exist; also, there are no equivalent Victorian Railways Book Numbers for units 147 to 150.For Indexes and Registers prior to 1904 see VPRS 435 Index to Correspondence (Existing Lines Branch) and VPRS 433 Inward Correspondence Registers.This series was originally transferred to archives with minimal documentation which has not been evaluated. All information currently available to PROV has been incorporated into this series registration. This registration will be updated when further research is subsequently undertaken.
