Field and laboratory data for crumb rubber in fly ash and stone dust stabilised subgrade
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains the primary experimental records, derived quantities, analysis code and model outputs supporting the manuscript "Field Evaluation of Crumb Rubber Content in Fly Ash and Stone Dust Stabilised Subgrade and Implications for Synthetic Data Surrogate Models", submitted to Geotechnical and Geological Engineering. A lateritic subgrade soil was stabilised with 20% stone dust and 20% fly ash by dry weight, selected by a laboratory screening programme in which unconfined compressive strength was measured on three specimens at each replacement level. Crumb rubber was then substituted at 0, 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5% by dry weight, and each mix was characterised by California bearing ratio (laboratory, IS 2720 Part 16, soaked) and by plate load testing in a prepared test pit (IS 1888:1982, 300 mm rigid plate). The deposit contains: the load–penetration record for all six mixes; the load–settlement record for all six mixes; three laboratory screening series with mean, standard deviation and coefficient of variation over three specimens per level; a derived summary of bearing ratio and modulus of subgrade reaction; the analysis and figure scripts; the outputs of the surrogate modelling reported in the manuscript; and, in a separate folder with its own documentation, the 800-record synthetic corpus that the manuscript examines. Every quantity reported in the manuscript can be recomputed from the primary records by running the supplied script compute_field_quantities.py. No reported value is transcribed from a summary table. All loads are in kilogram-force. This is stated prominently because a unit mislabelling was identified and corrected during preparation of this deposit: an earlier record labelled the plate loads as kN, which would imply 10.3 MPa of contact pressure on a 300 mm plate. The modulus of subgrade reaction is given in both kgf/cm³ and MPa/m. Users should read the Units and Limitations sections of README.md before use. The limitations include the absence of field replication in the rubber series, the absence of a plate-size correction, one plate load record that is not usable, undocumented curing periods, incomplete crumb rubber characterisation, and compaction controlled by procedure rather than verified by measurement. The synthetic corpus is not measurement data and must not be used for engineering design. It is deposited only so that the audit reported in the manuscript can be reproduced.
