Gut protozoan Tritrichomonas musculis life cycle and impact on murine microbiome

This study tracks changes in gut bacterial composition and gene expression during the first 28 days of colonization of healthy and B-cell deficient mice with Tritrichomonas musculis (T. mu). It furthermore dissects transcriptional activities of T. mu in the mouse caecum through single cell RNA-Seq.
