NRS-12703 | Opera House Competition: Memorandum to Competitors

This series consists of a memorandum that was issued to competitors in the "International competition for a National Opera House at Bennelong Point". The memorandum was issued by the Sydney Opera House Committee in accordance with Clause 16 of the Conditions of the Competition which provided for the "publication of the award within eight weeks from the date of closing, or as soon as possible". The memo contains the Assessors' report of the drawings, notably the first, second and third premiums. Competitors mentioned in the memo are listed on the front of the document. (4/8011)
