资源简介:
2-dimensional ferromagnetism is a rather recent discovery: with the advent of exfoliated van der Waals (vdW) materials, it has become possible to overcome the limitations imposed by the Mermin-Wagner theorem, achieving 2D ferromagnetic order. Only recently, the same effect has been observed in 2D metal-organic frameworks, which are the organic counterparts of vdW materials. These networks are 2D extended molecular structures, whose building blocks are linked together via coordinated metal nodes. With the present proposal, we aim to increase the degree of complexity of the MOF architecture and study the magnetic and chemical properties of bimetallic 2D-MOFs grown atop a gold single crystal surface. By means of near-edge absorption fine structure and X-ray magnetic circular dichroism, we will investigate the possible formation of a 2D ferromagnetic interface, as well as the magnetic coupling mechanism between the different metal nodes.
