Aim of this project is to test random versus non-random sister chromatid segregation in Arabidopsis pollen. With a newly developed method we plan to sequence template strands from single isolated vegetative and generative (sperm) pollen nuclei. From these results we expect to see the segregation of the template strand for each chromosome.
