资源简介:
This data set is generated from a national project “Development of new genetic sources for canola heat tolerance” (Agreement #: UWA2404-011RTX; UWA ROAP ID: 2023/GR001597) funded by the Grains Research & Development Corporation (GRDC), Australia. In the field, crops are simultaneously exposed to an array of environmental stressors, which can substantially impact yield. Understanding of the interaction in the field will enable improved growing practices for optimal crop production, with reduction in inputs and increases in yields. Despite this, current research is focussed on response to a single stressor (drought, heat, frost etc.), which does not reflect actual on-paddock exposure to multiple stressors. Heat and drought stress is increasing in the growing season in Australia due to climate change. Warm winters and spring heat waves results in more frequent drought and heat stress confounding. In the previous GRDC project (UWA1905-007RTX), we obtained some lines with good heat stress tolerance. In this experiment, we investigated the drought tolerance status of several heat-tolerant lines.
