Persistence of salivary antibody responses after COVID-19 vaccination is associated with oral microbiome

Our study is the first to demonstrate that oral microbiome has an impact on the long-term antibody persistence in saliva after Covid-19 mRNA vaccination. Microbiome-targeted interventions to enhance the long-term duration of mRNA vaccine immunity may be exploited.
