SEM-Based Morphological and Chemical Characterization of Particulate Matter in San Miguel de Tucumán (Aug 2019–Aug 2020)
收藏资源简介:
This dataset contains particle-scale information derived from passive deposition sampling and Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) analysis of settled particulate matter collected in San Miguel de Tucumán (Argentina) between August 2019 and August 2020. The dataset includes results from 40 sampling events, each consisting of multiple SEM images acquired under fixed operating conditions. For each image, the dataset reports particle counts, analyzed surface area, exposure time, and calculated particle number deposition rates (NDR). Individual particles were manually analyzed using SEM image analysis to extract equivalent circular diameters (ECD) and grayscale-based morphological features. Based on grayscale contrast and elemental information, particles were classified into carbonaceous particulate matter (PMC) and terrigenous particulate matter (PMT). Period labels indicating harvest vs. non-harvest conditions and COVID-19 lockdown vs. non-lockdown periods are included to support temporal and contextual analyses. This dataset is intended for particle-scale, relative, and comparative analyses of deposited particulate matter.
