Root microbiome in two canola genotypes with contrasting yield productivity

We investigated the root microbiomes of two canola genotypes with contrasting yield productivity using shotgun metagenomic sequencing. Our analysis delved into the variations of the root microbial community at the levels of composition, function, and co-occurrence networks. This allowed us to illustrate the complex relationship between plant genotypes and root microbes and to identify microbial features that may potentially contribute to variations in plant phenotypes.
