Threatened Old-Growth Tree Occurrences in Sweden (2025)

This dataset contains occurrences of 11 threatened old-growth tree species in Sweden, extracted via the GBIF API. Records were filtered to include only those with precise geographic coordinates within Sweden, duplicates and flagged records were removed, and species names were validated against the GBIF taxonomic backbone. The dataset provides a high-confidence, derived record suitable for research, conservation planning, and biodiversity assessments. The species included are: Ulmus glabra L., Ulmus minor Mill., Ulmus laevis Pall., Acer campestre L., Tilia platyphyllos Scop., Fraxinus excelsior L., Picea abies (L.)
