This dataset includes input files for the impact simulations, including the thermal profiles of the target planets discussed in a related paper (Manske et al., JGR 2025 under review). Key Points We quantify impact-induced melt production throughout the thermochemical evolution of planets of various sizes and structures. Apart from shock melting, we quantify decompression and plastic work melting, which may contribute significantly to total melt production. We discuss to what extent classical scaling laws are applicable to melt production and derive an empirical scaling law from our results.
