A total of 40 soil samples(0-15cm depth) were taken from paddy fields within tropical, sub-tropical, warm-temperate, and mid-temperate zones in eastern China. 10 sampling sites were selected from each climate zone, and each soil sample site in the same climate zone is 50 kilometers away.PacBio Sequelwas used to analyze the structural diversity of microbial communities containing target fragment genes. First, DNA samples for nod gene PCR analysis, the primers were nod 684Fv2/nod 1706Rv2.
